The tourism industry is focusing its attention on a new type of event, the “Alpine Hospitality Summit 2024”, which will specifically examine the future prospects of the Alpine holiday hotel industry.

The initiator of this event is the Prodinger Consulting Group, which brings together around 270 decision-makers from the Alpine hotel industry on May 16, 2024 at the Hotel Rasmushof in Kitzbühel. Experts from various fields, including banking and architecture, as well as practitioners from family businesses will address the sector's current challenges and opportunities throughout the day. The summit has been completely sold out for several weeks now.

A central topic at the summit is the question of alternative financing options, especially against the backdrop of rising interest rates. Innovative models such as mezzanine, crowd and buy2let financing will be discussed. Participants in this discussion include representatives from Falkensteiner Hotels, the Austrian Hotel Association (ÖHV) and the Tourismusbank (OeHT).

Furthermore, the four most important capitalization models traded on the market are examined in more detail, with a particular focus on their impact on small and medium-sized hotel and catering businesses. In addition to the financial issue, the requirements of Generation Z and new trends in hotel catering are also discussed.

The aim of the Alpine Hospitality Summit is to prepare the industry as best as possible for the future. Thomas Reisenzahn, co-initiator and managing director of Prodinger Tourism Consulting, emphasises: "The Alpine Hospitality Summit is a unique platform that enables all leaders in the industry to exchange knowledge and shape the future of the Alpine holiday hotel industry. We look forward to exciting discussions and groundbreaking concepts!"
