The internationally active event company RX Global is considering withdrawing from Austria. Among other things, the Alpine republic operates the trade fairs in Vienna and Salzburg.

The company was previously known as “Reed Messe”. Regarding the upcoming sale, which will not affect its activities in Germany, RX Global said: “RX Global has evaluated its business activities in Austria and decided to examine options for exiting the Austrian market. This market is recovering more slowly than expected. RX assumes that new ownership offers the best conditions for business growth in Austria. Preparations are currently beginning for a sales process in Austria, which could take several months. “Germany remains a key strategic market for RX.”
