Turkey relaxes the entry requirements for people coming from Germany. In future, the results of rapid antigen tests that must not be older than 48 hours will also be recognized. Vaccinated and convalescent people can enter without a test result.
The last vaccination dose (second injection, except for Johnson & Johnson) must have been given at least 14 days before entry. Those who have recovered can take up to six months of relief. PCR test results must not be older than 72 hours. Regardless of this, a digital entry registration must still be made via the homepage of the Turkish Ministry of Health.
However, this does not change when you return to Germany. The Robert Koch Institute continues to classify Turkey as a high incidence area. If necessary, this can trigger an obligation to quarantine. Therefore, travelers to Turkey should inform themselves in advance which requirements have to be met when entering or returning to Germany.
