Verdi strike: All departures in Hamburg canceled

There will be no departures at Hamburg Airport this Thursday, March 7, 2024. The Verdi union is calling on security staff to go on strike.

For this reason, all 141 departures on Thursday will be canceled or will take place without passengers. Flight cancellations and delays are also to be expected when it comes to arrivals. Affected passengers are asked to contact their airline or tour operator. Arrivals will still be possible on Thursday. Nevertheless, there may be flight cancellations and significant delays throughout the day for arrivals at Hamburg Airport due to the Verdi strike.
