In 2023, Vienna Airport welcomed more than 30 million passengers for the first time since the pandemic, including the 30 millionth passenger, Celia Williams from Boston.

This marks a return to pre-crisis figures, which were 2019 million in 31,7. In addition to a significant increase compared to 2022 (23,7 million), growing flight offerings and the return of long-haul connections contributed to the development. The airport expects a further increase in 2024.
