Vienna Airport has received the Silver Employer Branding Award 2025 in the "Global Player Internal Branding" category for its "Nothing flies here without women!" campaign. The campaign also received the Gold Special Award for "Sustainable HRM." The campaign, which highlights women in various positions at the airport, was launched in advance of International Women's Day 2025 and features 27 female employees in various areas of responsibility.
The campaign was conceived and implemented by the airport's internal advertising and marketing department. The awards were presented to representatives of Vienna Airport at a ceremony hosted by the agency Symbiosis and the Employer Brand Managers Club. The campaign showcases women in various positions, from airside managers and security agents to automotive technicians and web developers.
Vienna Airport currently employs around 1.300 women and is implementing measures to increase the airport's attractiveness as an employer, particularly in commercial and technical professions. The campaign is continually being expanded with new motifs and can be seen on social media and at various airport locations.
