The DDSG Blue Danube invites you to its traditional Easter fun on the water in 2025, offering a diverse program for families and connoisseurs over the Easter holidays from April 19th to 20th, 2025. Under the motto "Cast off for Easter fun," passengers can experience the Danube and its riverside landscapes on special themed cruises. Managing Director Wolfgang Fischer emphasizes that the Easter cruises promise unforgettable experiences for the whole family, combining culinary, cultural, and scenic aspects and making the start of the season on the Danube an annual highlight.

On Easter Saturday, a special Easter cruise for families is scheduled. On board the MS Admiral Tegetthoff, young passengers can expect an exciting Easter egg hunt, various craft stations, and surprise guests like Poppo the Clown and the Easter Bunny. While the children are entertained, adults can enjoy a brunch buffet. This two-hour cruise departs at 14 p.m. from the Reichsbrücke boat station in Vienna.

Easter Sunday is all about the popular "Brunch on the Waves of the Danube." Aboard the MS Admiral Tegetthoff, a lavish Easter brunch buffet with traditional Easter dishes such as Easter ham and roast lamb, along with many other delicacies, will be offered. Pianists Caroline Kreutzberger and Ines Pop will provide musical accompaniment for the four-hour cruise on the Vienna Danube. In addition to these offerings in Vienna, the DDSG Blue Danube also offers a "Wachau Brunch" on Easter Sunday on the MS Dürnstein. This five-hour cruise takes you from Krems through the UNESCO World Heritage Wachau region to Melk and back, passing picturesque vineyards and historic abbeys. A sumptuous brunch with regional specialties awaits guests on board.
