The Vienna Tourist Board continues its culinary journey of discovery "Hungry for more" on YouTube, dedicating the latest episode to ice cream. Michelin-starred chef Lukas Mraz guides visitors through three Viennese ice cream parlors and samples a wide range of ice cream variations, from fruity and fresh to creamy and classic to unusual and creative. The episode is aimed especially at ice cream lovers and summer visitors seeking authentic taste experiences in the Austrian capital.

In the current episode of the third season, Lukas Mraz visits the traditional Tichy ice cream parlor on Reumannplatz, known for its legendary ice cream dumplings, where he also presents his own creation with gherkins. At Gelato Carlo in Josefstadt, the top chef samples unusual flavors and is surprised with an unusual "pistachio sausage roll." The tour concludes at the Tuchlauben ice cream parlor in the city center, a traditional Viennese business that has been in business for 100 years. There, Mraz is helped by his mother as he eats ice cream, and together they reveal an "icy secret."

Norbert Kettner, Director of the Vienna Tourist Board, emphasizes that "Hungry for More" presents Vienna's culinary diversity to an international audience, beyond conventional food trends, in an authentic yet cosmopolitan way. He praises Lukas Mraz as the ideal host to convincingly showcase the multifaceted world of Viennese gelato. The series has already enjoyed great popularity, with over 1,4 million episodes viewed to date. In addition to the YouTube series, there is a competition on the Vienna Tourist Board's Instagram channel in which three participants can win vouchers for Tichy ice cream. Along with art and culture, Vienna's culinary diversity is considered one of the main reasons why tourists visit the city. Viennese cuisine is known for its integration of diverse culinary influences and the innovative strength of its chefs.
