The Austrian airline Austrian Airlines reports the failure of an Airbus A320neo, which was damaged during a towing operation and cannot be used in flight operations. The airline originally wanted to compensate for the loss on its own, but now the airline Air Dolomiti is stepping in to take over the route.

The Austrian airline Austrian Airlines has to accept the failure of an Airbus A320neo. The reason for the failure is damage caused by a collision during a towing process. Although this failure could be problematic for the airline, it wanted to cope with the failure on its own. Nothing will come of this, as the Aero.de portal reports. The airline Air Dolomiti, which, like Austrian Airlines, belongs to the Lufthansa Group, has agreed to take over the Vienna-Venice route. The four daily flights are to be operated with an Embraer E195, and the replacement by Air Dolomiti is to apply from June to October.
