Vietnam Airlines is expanding its route network in Europe and is now offering direct flights from Munich to Vietnam. The airline will now fly twice a week to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

From December 2024, the frequency will be increased to four weekly flights. Munich is Vietnam Airlines' fourth European destination after Frankfurt, London and Paris. The flights offer comfortable three-class seating: Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class.

Munich Airport hopes that the new connections will strengthen economic relations and cultural exchange between Bavaria and Vietnam. Vietnam is one of the up-and-coming travel destinations in Southeast Asia and has developed into an important investment location for Bavarian companies.
