The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings will offer three weekly routes between Cologne/Bonn and Jeddah in the 2024/2025 winter flight schedule. The first flight is scheduled to take place on November 5, 2024.

Eurowings flies to the port city on the Red Sea three times a week from Cologne/Bonn in its winter flight schedule - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The return flights to the Rhineland take place on the same days of the week. A state-of-the-art and efficient Airbus A320neo will be used. The route to Jeddah is the first direct connection from North Rhine-Westphalia to Saudi Arabia.

“Our new Airbus A320neo are not only the most efficient and quietest medium-haul jets in the world. They also allow us to have significantly greater ranges, allowing us to reach attractive destinations in the Gulf region non-stop from Germany. “We are all the more pleased that we are connecting Eurowings’ home airport directly with Saudi Arabia’s most important port city on the Red Sea for the first time,” says Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings.
