Wizz Air has announced that it will temporarily suspend all flights to and from Tel Aviv until January 14, 2025. The reason for this decision is ongoing uncertainties in the region.

The airline regrets the inconvenience caused to affected passengers and is offering various compensation options. Affected customers can either receive a full refund, processed in the form of Wizz Credit or via the original form of payment, or rebook on a later flight free of charge. Passengers who booked through third-party providers are requested to contact them directly to make their claim.

The measure is in response to the current situation in Israel, which has also forced other airlines to make changes to their flight schedules. Security concerns in the region have led to increased scrutiny of flights to the Middle East. The suspension of flights is intended to protect passengers and staff.
