Zurich Airport has once again been named Europe's best airport in its category. The award was presented annually by the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, presented by the international umbrella organization of airport operators, Airports Council International (ACI) World. The assessment is based on comprehensive passenger surveys. Since 2018, Zurich Airport has continuously held the top spot in the "Europe's Best Airport with 25 to 40 Million Passengers" category.
Lukas Brosi, CEO of Flughafen Zürich AG, expressed his delight at the renewed recognition and emphasized the close collaboration with the companies operating at the airport. The ASQ Award evaluates 34 criteria, including infrastructure, catering options, and hygiene standards. The world's leading program for measuring passenger satisfaction covers more than 400 airports in 110 countries.
Zurich Airport has also been accredited for the ACI Customer Experience Program. This program analyzes the customer experience at all touchpoints and derives optimization opportunities. One example of customer-centric innovation is the "ZRH Comfort" offering, which includes premium services such as a separate lounge area with snacks and drinks and priority security screening.
