An abandoned piece of luggage that was left at the Berlin-Brandenburg Airport train station on Tuesday prompted a police operation. The affected area had to be cordoned off.

At around 20:45 p.m., the federal police were able to give the all-clear. The suitcase, which originally looked suspicious, turned out to be completely harmless. Due to the police operation, rail traffic was affected. However, the incident had no impact on BER flight operations.
