Air Astana will be connecting Germany with Kazakhstan up to ten times a week non-stop from next summer.
With the start of the summer timetable on March 27, 2022, the airline will increase the number of flights between Frankfurt and the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan from four to initially five connections per week. From May 12, 2022, the national airline of Kazakhstan will serve this route six times a week
and even daily from May 31, 2022. At the same time, the flight times on this connection are changing: Flight KC922 from Frankfurt takes off at 19:55 p.m. in the evening and reaches its destination the next morning at 5:35 a.m. local time. On the way back, KC921 will depart Nur-Sultan at 16:10 p.m. and land in the Main metropolis at 18:30 p.m. on the same day. An Airbus A321LR with a two-class configuration including 16 flat-bed seats in Business Class is used in each case.
In addition to the flights to Nur-Sultan, Air Astana will continue to serve the city of Uralsk, also known as Oral, in northwest Kazakhstan with one flight per week (every Wednesday) in the summer schedule. The carrier will be moving the weekly flights to Atyrau on the Caspian Sea from Frankfurt to Amsterdam "for logistical reasons" at the start of the 2022 summer schedule. After the pandemic-related suspension in the past two years, Air Astana will also resume seasonal service between Hanover and Kostanai in northern Kazakhstan in the summer months. The flights will depart every Saturday between May 14 and September 4, 2022, and also every Sunday from June 4, 2022.
