At the beginning of December 2024, the airline Air Baltic will reach an important milestone: the eight-year operating life of its Airbus A220-300 fleet.

The first aircraft was received on 30 November 2016, and the first commercial flight followed on 14 December 2016 from Riga to Amsterdam. With 49 Airbus A220-300s currently in operation, a further 40 aircraft on order and options for ten additional aircraft, Air Baltic is the largest operator of this type in the world. Since its launch, more than 17 million passengers have been carried and almost 192.000 flights have been completed.
