The Latvian airline Air Baltic announced at the Dubai Air Sow that it would order 30 more Airbus A220-300s. With 44 copies, they are already the world's largest operator of this pattern.

This new order brings the airline's firm order book to a total of 80 aircraft. "This day marks a significant milestone in air Baltic's history - we plan to operate a fleet of 2030 aircraft for the first time by 100. The Airbus A220-300 has been the backbone of our operations for almost seven years and has played a key role in air Baltic's international success story," said Martin Gauss, President and CEO of air Baltic. "As the global launch customer of the Airbus A220-300, we continue to be a proud ambassador of this aircraft. We are grateful to our partners at Airbus for their incredible support, trust and cooperation over the years."
