Air Canada has inaugurated its new seasonal non-stop service between Brussels Airport and its global hub at Toronto Pearson Airport, operating up to four times per week. The new route complements Air Canada's existing non-stop flights from Brussels to Montreal.
Air Canada operates the most flights between Canada and Belgium and is the only airline to connect the two countries year-round, with up to 11 weekly non-stop flights from Brussels to Toronto and Montreal during the summer peak.
The new service between Brussels and Toronto will be operated using the airline's Boeing 787 Dreamliner and offers a choice of three classes: Economy, Premium Economy and Air Canada Signature Class, offering customers superior comfort and convenience in an exclusive cabin with spacious reclining seats, personalized service, fine dining, extra luggage and access to priority airport services. All flights are scheduled to optimize connections to Air Canada's extensive North American route network. Seats can be booked through aircanada.com, the Air Canada app, Air Canada contact centers and travel agents.
“We are pleased to launch our new non-stop service between Brussels and Toronto,” said Steven De Bisschop, Air Canada regional manager in Belgium. “Our customers in Belgium benefit from direct access to one of North America's most vibrant cities, Toronto, and the wider Ontario region, as well as even greater travel choice with up to 11 weekly non-stop flights connecting Brussels to Canada. Customers can also benefit from Air Canada’s extensive route network from its hubs in Toronto and Montreal, providing convenient onward connections to destinations across the Americas.”
"We are delighted to once again have Toronto as a direct connection to and from Brussels Airport thanks to Air Canada," said Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport. "This new destination is an important addition to our long-haul network and reinforces our position as a hub connecting Canadian passengers to the heart of Europe and beyond, both for leisure travel and to visit friends and family, as well as to strengthen the economic link between Belgium and Canada. The route will be operated with the new Boeing 787 generation aircraft and complements Air Canada's daily flights between Brussels Airport and Montreal, a successful route since 2010."
