The inaugural flight of the airline, which will offer connections to the German hub, landed at Ridolfi Airport this morning.
The first flight of Air Dolomiti, the Italian airline of the Lufthansa Group, landed at Luigi Ridolfi Airport this morning. The plane, an Embraer 195, left Munich at 07:50 a.m. and arrived in Forlì just under an hour later. The company operates two weekly frequencies (Mondays and Fridays) in the months of June, July and August in codeshare with Lufthansa.
“The start of flights from Forlì to the Munich hub is a further step towards returning to normal operations, expanding our offer and offering travellers an increasingly comprehensive and efficient range of alternatives“, says Joerg Eberhart, President & CEO of Air Dolomiti, and continues: "We are making great progress in resuming our activities and cooperations, hopefully now without further setbacks, in order to reach not only Bavaria, but also all the destinations offered by Lufthansa's numerous connections."
