On September 06th and 07th, 2024, Airpower24, Europe's largest air show, will take place at Zeltweg Air Base. The event combines impressive flight demonstrations by the Austrian Air Force and international aerobatic teams with an extensive exhibition on the ground. A total of 206 aircraft from over 20 nations are expected. Admission to the event is free.

Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner announced a particularly diverse program, which will include numerous flight demonstrations as well as premieres such as the new multi-purpose helicopter AW-169 "LION". The highlights include displays of Eurofighters, F-16 and F-18, as well as, for the first time, a solo display of an American F-35A. There will also be demonstrations of historic aircraft and performances by aerobatic teams such as the Patrouille Suisse and Patrulla Aguila.

AIRPOWER24 offers families a separate children's area and an extensive supporting program. After the flight operations have ended, there are further program items such as a film screening of "Top Gun: Maverick" and a "Meet the Pilots Corner".
