Airships: UK subsidizes Airlander development

Advertising

The development of the planned Airlander airship is to be financially supported by the English region of South Yorkshire. Around seven million pounds sterling will be made available for this purpose.

Series production is to be set up near Doncaster. Those responsible have the idea that airships should have a big comeback with a new concept. Among other things, you could inspire the Spanish regional airline Air Nostrum to do so. Some time ago, they signed a declaration of intent on the acquisition of numerous specimens that they want to use mainly within Spain.
