Schauinsland-Reisen and the Turkish holiday airline are now relying on a tourist airline sales system called Airxelerate. Through this, tour operators could add additional services such as seat reservations, meals and luggage.
“We believe Calisto |Ancillary takes travel distribution to a new level. For the first time, organizers can offer a fully comprehensive portfolio of flight services including additional services in sales,” says Nina Sifi, CEO of Airxelerate.
Schauinsland Reisen as well as the launching partner SunExpress have already completed the implementation of. Live operations are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. Other organizers are also working on implementing the new tool into their processes. “In terms of scope of services, tourism sales will now be on the same level as airlines’ direct sales,” says Nina Sifi.
