Klagenfurt Airport will again reduce operating times. The background is that Austrian Airlines will no longer fly to the airport from mid-November until mid-December 2020. The carrier is reducing the offer across the network to just ten percent of the previous year's offer.

The sister company Eurowings will - as reported - Suspend the Cologne / Bonn-Klagenfurt route until at least December 18, 2020. As a result, there will be no scheduled flights in Carinthia for the time being. The airport expects that only a reduced flight program will be available at the beginning of 2021.

After the scheduled traffic at Klagenfurt Airport comes to a standstill, the airport's operating times will be restricted again for economic reasons. An application has been made to the Ministry of Transport for an operating time from 9:2020 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. on 19 November 00.
