April 2021: Ryanair reports one million passengers

Advertising

The Ryanair Group carried around one million passengers in April 2021. Compared to the same month last year, in which flight operations - with a few exceptions - were largely shut down, an increase was achieved.

In direct comparison with the performance of April 2019, the most recent value is only a proverbial drop in the ocean, because at that time there were around 13,5 million travelers. In the first four months of the current year, the group was able to transport 28,5 million passengers, 79 percent below the previous year's figure.

The Ryanair Group does not provide any information on the utilization of its aircraft as of April 2021. This phenomenon occurred repeatedly in the previous year in particularly weak calendar months. The Irish group of companies never gave a reason for not publishing the load factor.
