Ronny Pecik founded airlines twice under the name Amira Air. He sold the first to Niki Lauda, from which the former airline Lauda and Laudamotion Executive emerged. Now the “second Amira Air” got a new company name.
The company is now active under the wording RP Aircraft Management GmbH. The RP Air brand will be used in the future. However, they don't have a homepage yet. The airline is in possession of the AOC and an operating license from the Austrian authorities.
Incidentally, Laudamotion Executive has been on the move as a sparfell for some time. The name, which reminds of the previous owner, has been discarded. The low-cost airline Lauda, formerly called Amira Air, returned its licenses to the Austrian authorities at the end of the previous year. As a replacement, Ryanair founded Lauda Europe Ltd. in Malta.
