United Airlines, for example, operates on domestic flights and British Airways on leisure routes with comparably high capacity.

The conversion of the cabins of the B777-200ER fleet of Austrian Airlines is taking place gradually. Therefore, the machines with increased capacity are then gradually put back into scheduled service. According to the airline, it will be from February 2023, because from this calendar month the first long-haul aircraft with 330 seats will fly regularly on the AUA routes.

Then there is a kind of "short breather", because only on March 27, 2023 will the "330-seat first deployment" continue. Then follows the Vienna-New York (Newark) route. From April 2, 2023, Chicago (O'Hare) will be served with more capacity for the first time, from May 2, 2023 it will be served to Tokyo (Narita) and on May 18, 2023 Los Angeles will follow.

The stated dates for the first deployment have been confirmed by Austrian Airlines and relate to the current status of planning. This means that these are subject to change. In the initial phase, not all weekly frequencies will be served by Boeing 777-200ERs, which have 330 seats.
