After Nuremberg Airport was able to record a strong increase in passengers during the summer holidays, the airport is also anticipating correspondingly high demand for the Bavarian autumn holidays.

Around 55.000 passengers are expected at 500 take-offs and landings during the week-long vacation. Since the school holidays were canceled last autumn, no comparison is possible. The busiest day of travel is expected to be Friday, October 29, with almost 6.500 passengers. At the very top of the favor with passengers is Turkey with up to 17.500 passengers, followed by Mallorca. City trips are also back in vogue: the most popular metropolises are Paris, London and Palermo. New: the Italian Bologna with Ryanair.
