The low-cost airline Wizz Air will station a second Airbus A1neo at Bari Airport in Italy on July 2021, 321. At the same time, the carrier is adding eight new routes from this airport.

This includes a domestic route to Milan-Linate. This should be used up to twice a day. This means that Wizz Air will be heading for the inner-city Milan airport for the first time in company history. In the course of a redistribution, Wizz Air, along with Austrian Airlines, Ryanair, Easyjet and Air Dolomiti, received the coveted take-off and landing rights.

From Bari, the Hungarian low-cost airline will take on the destinations Treviso, Luton, Basel, Corfu, Mykonos and Tel Aviv. The sister company Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will start flights to the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The last-mentioned route is announced for November 21, 2021. Wizz Air has a total of four bases in Italy.
