Air Serbia opened a new direct connection between Belgrade and Guangzhou with yesterday's flight JU988. The Serbian airline is now serving its second destination in China after Tianjin.

The flights will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, with an Airbus A330-200. Guangzhou, a major industrial and commercial center in southern China, is also known for its rich cultural and historical tradition. Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport serves as a hub for China's Belt and Road Initiative and is an important hub in the Greater Bay Area.

The new connection is intended to promote both economic exchange between Serbia and China and tourism. Guangzhou offers travelers a combination of modernity and tradition, including historical sites such as the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees and the famous Cantonese cuisine.
