Belgrade Airport performed above expectations in 2022: the target of five million passengers was significantly exceeded. So the airport is not missing much to catch up with the record year 2019.

The airport in the Serbian capital recorded the third largest passenger volume of all time with 5.611.920 passengers in the past year. Compared to the previous year, the airport was able to increase by 70,8 percent, but the number of passengers remains below the level before the pandemic. According to this, almost nine percent would still be missing to reach the pre-crisis level, as the online portal Ex-Yu-Aviation reports. The number of commercial flight movements over the course of the year was 65.644.
