Berlin-Brandenburg Airport has simplified the use of the “appointed security check”. For a few days now, passengers no longer have to show an additional QR code; instead, scanning the boarding card is sufficient.

For some time now, Berlin Airport has been offering the option of reserving a time slot in advance for passing through security. This service aims to reduce queues. In addition, travelers can now reserve “BER Runway” seven days before their flight. Previously, this was only possible three days in advance.
