The Scandinavian airlines BRA (Braathens Regional Airlines) and SAS have agreed on a long-term wet lease partnership.

Under the agreement, BRA will operate several aircraft for SAS and provide capacity on key domestic routes in Sweden and at the Copenhagen hub. The contract, which runs for seven years, is worth around six billion Swedish kronor (around 530 million euros). BRA will also expand its fleet to meet the needs of the partnership.

The cooperation aims to better meet domestic demand in Sweden, optimise operations and improve regional air traffic. SAS expects that the integration of BRA's aircraft into its own operations will provide passengers with reliable and efficient travel options.

Braathens Regional Airlines currently operates a fleet of 14 ATR 72s, three of which are in service with Austrian Airlines.
