After around ten years of presence, which was only temporarily interrupted by the corona pandemic, the Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines was able to carry the one millionth passenger at Bremen Airport.

The anniversary passenger received a voucher from the carrier for a return flight from the Hanseatic city to Istanbul and back. Currently, Turkish Airlines offers ten flights per week between the two cities.

“As Turkish Airlines Bremen, we are very happy about the millionth guest who flies with us to the Istanbul hub. With the range of flights that we have steadily expanded over the past few years, we can reach more international destinations from Bremen Airport with a maximum of one stop than any other airline. Therefore, we are convinced that we will reach the next million from Bremen Airport even faster with Turkish Airlines,” says Nurullah Oguz, General Manager Turkish Airlines Bremen and Hamburg.

“Turkish Airlines has been an important and reliable partner for Bremen Airport for more than ten years. We are pleased that Turkish Airlines' offer has been so well received in the Hanseatic city and that after around ten years we have already broken through the 1 million passenger mark. Of course, we hope for many more years to come with many Turkish Airlines passengers at Bremen Airport,” says airport boss Marc Cezanne on the milestone.
