Lufthansa increases prices for food and drinks

Germany's largest airline, Lufthansa, has released a new sales catalogue for buy-on-board catering in economy class on short and medium-haul flights. The prices have also been increased - in some cases significantly. For about 1,5 years now, Lufthansa and its subsidiaries have only been offering food and drinks in economy class for a fee.

From Bergen: Widerøe sets course for Munich and Hamburg

The Norwegian regional airline Widerøe is adding four new routes from Bergen to its 2023 summer flight schedule. Two of these will be to Germany. The carrier will initially fly to Hamburg three times a week from March 30, 2023. This route is to be increased to four rotations in May 2023. From March 31, 2023, the airline plans to fly twice a week to Hamburg.

Singapore Airlines extends codeshare cooperation with Lufthansa

Skyexpress departs from MUC to Athens

Munich Airport tests security and passport controls “with appointment”

Munich Airport is testing the advance reservation of appointments for security and passport controls for an initial period of 60 days. The aim is to shorten waiting times and better manage capacity. Summer 2023: Lufthansa wants to use at least three A380s from Munich
