Significant expansion of long-distance bus services at Düsseldorf Airport

Long-distance bus operator Flixbus has significantly expanded its presence at Düsseldorf Airport for the start of the new travel season. As the operating company of Germany's third-largest airport announced, the service has been increased from three routes with six daily departures to seven routes. SunExpress and Eurowings deepen operational cooperation in European transport

The airlines SunExpress and Eurowings have significantly expanded their existing codeshare agreement as of February 3, 2026. Eurowings will connect Düsseldorf with Milan-Linate from March 2026.

Eurowings is further expanding its services at its Düsseldorf hub and will launch a new route to the northern Italian metropolis of Milan at the start of the 2026 summer flight schedule. From March 29, 2026, the Lufthansa subsidiary will serve Milan Linate Airport, conveniently located near the city center. A total of eleven weekly flights are planned, operated with aircraft from the Airbus A320 family.

Eurowings expands wet-lease capacity for the 2026 summer flight schedule

Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings is expanding its fleet for the upcoming 2026 summer season through extensive wet-lease agreements with external partners.
