Tuzla plans public tender for subsidies for new routes

The Tuzla Canton Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Transport has announced plans to launch a public tender for subsidies to airlines to launch new flight connections from Tuzla Airport. A total of €615.000 will be made available to operate flights to destinations such as Eindhoven, Hahn, Vienna, Berlin, Malmö, and Gothenburg.

Significant security deficiencies identified at Brussels and Charleroi airports

European inspections have uncovered serious security deficiencies at Belgium's two largest airports, Brussels-Zaventem and Brussels-Charleroi. Significant deficiencies were identified, particularly in the detection of explosives. At Brussels-Charleroi Airport, security personnel failed seven out of eight unannounced checks. During announced checks, dangerous objects were not detected in nine out of fifteen cases.
