In the current CDP ranking, the Lufthansa Group was given a grade of A-.

The scale ranges from “A” to “D-” and is intended to recognize companies for their efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. CDP is a global platform for disclosing information about the sustainability of companies, cities and regions. The Lufthansa Group has been involved in CDP reporting since 2006 and thus continuously and transparently informs relevant interest groups about its strategy and measures to reduce CO2. Every year, CDP uses a standardized process to collect information on CO2 emissions, sustainability strategies and goals from more than 23.000 companies, which represent around two thirds of global market capitalization.
