With the investment company Certares, FTI has found a new owner who will provide the tour operator with fresh capital amounting to 125 million euros. This should put an end to the unclear situation.

The current owners should remain on board and have announced that they will participate in the capital increase. The deal is still subject to the necessary regulatory approvals. “With the support of Certares and its extensive experience, as well as the capital provided by the consortium, FTI is in a unique position for future growth and profitability that benefits all stakeholders – including our customers, business partners and employees. We are determined to begin our next chapter of success and further consolidate our position as a leading player in the German and European tourism sector,” said FTI Managing Director Karl Markgraf.
