The house brand of Mannheim Airport, Rhein-Neckar Air, will be offering non-stop flights from Kassel-Calden to Sylt and Usedom from May 7, 2022 on behalf of a tour operator. These are carried out with turboprop aircraft from MHS Aviation.

It is currently planned that the charter flights will be offered on Saturdays. The client is the tour operator “Holidays from Kassel Airport”. From April 2, 2022, Rhein-Neckar Air plans to fly to Sylt from Mannheim Airport up to three times a week.

Rhein-Neckar Air is a joint venture between Mannheim Airport and local companies. Originally, daytime connections to Berlin and Mannheim were offered. The operational implementation is carried out from the start by Gerd Brandecker's MHS Aviation. The inner-German CIty routes have been inactive for some time due to the corona pandemic. The resumption is planned, but there is no specific date yet.
