Codeshare: IndiGo puts code on Turkish flights departing from Salzburg

In cooperation with Turkish Airlines, IndiGo will offer additional travel options to India from France and Austria. This allows for a codeshare agreement with the Turkish carrier.

In Austria, this is already possible on flights to Vienna. From December 1, 2022, the IndiGo code will also be placed on Turkish Airlines flights from Salzburg. The changeover to the aircraft of the Indian low-cost airline takes place in Istanbul. However, the likelihood that the journey will continue in a Turkish Airlines Boeing 777 is quite high, as some routes are used for the Turkish carrier's Indigo wet lease aircraft.

Flights to Paris, Lyon, Nice and Toulouse are also part of the codeshare cooperation. Subsequently, the IndiGo code is to be placed on other Western European routes operated by Turkish Airlines.
