The German airline Leav Aviation, which previously specialized in the provision of ACMI and charter services, is entering the scheduled business. The carrier offers some holiday routes from Cologne/Bonn at its own expense.
Flights to Palma de Mallorca will start things off. This destination will be served from May 18, 2023 from Cologne/Bonn. First of all, the frequencies and days of operation vary. From June 26, 2023, flights will be on Mondays and Fridays.
From June 24, 2023 there will be two weekly flights to Heraklion. The execution takes place on the traffic days Tuesday and Saturday. Kos will be served on Mondays and Fridays from June 23, 2023. From June 24, 2023, there will be flights to Rhodes on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
Leav Aviation's tariff system is based on those of low-cost airlines such as Ryanair, Wizz Air and Eurowings. In the "LeavNaked" price category, for example, only a small piece of hand luggage with the maximum dimensions of 40 cm x 30 cm x 25 cm (max. five kilograms) is included. Taking a trolley in the IATA standard format and checking in luggage costs extra. This is already included in the LeavDressed tariff. Furthermore, this can be rebooked up to four hours before the scheduled departure against payment of the fare difference. LeavSplendid also includes a seat reservation on seats with more legroom as well as the possibility to cancel for a fee.
Leav Aviation is a young German airline that started in May 2022. Initially, only ACMI and charter services were provided. The fleet currently consists of two Airbus A320s with the registrations D-ANDI and D-ANNE.
