With the start of the 2024/2025 winter flight schedule, Condor is ushering in a new era for travelers from the capital region. The renowned German airline will take off from Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) to three popular sunny destinations: Dubai, Gran Canaria and Hurghada.

This is an important step for Condor, as flights to Dubai are being offered directly from the German capital for the first time. Peter Gerber, CEO of Condor, is delighted about this expansion of the route network: "The Canary Islands and Egypt are popular holiday destinations in the Condor route network, and the new Dubai destination gives guests the opportunity to fly to some of the world's most attractive destinations."

Dubai: An Urban Paradise in the Orient

Dubai, the dazzling metropolis of the United Arab Emirates, attracts millions of tourists every year. Travelers can fly to Dubai from Berlin every day with a new Airbus A320neo. The city offers a fascinating mix of ultra-modern architecture, luxurious shopping centers and traditional markets. A highlight is the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, which offers a breathtaking view of the city and the desert. In addition to the imposing skyscrapers, Dubai also attracts visitors with dream beaches, lively bazaars and a thriving gastronomy scene.

"The possibility of reaching Dubai directly from Berlin opens up new perspectives for travelers," said Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH. "Thanks to Condor, our passengers now have the chance to enjoy the best of both worlds: the vibrant city and the tranquility of the surrounding desert landscapes."

Gran Canaria and Hurghada: Traditional holiday destinations with many facets

In addition to Dubai, Condor also flies from Berlin to Gran Canaria, one of the most popular Canary Islands, and Hurghada in Egypt. Gran Canaria is known for its mild climate all year round, impressive beaches and varied landscapes. Condor offers flights to Las Palmas twice a week (Thursdays and Saturdays). The island attracts sun worshippers and active holidaymakers alike: whether hiking in the mountains or relaxing on the beaches of Maspalomas, there is something for every taste.

Condor flies to Hurghada up to four times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). The city on the Red Sea is not only a popular destination for beach vacationers, but also an El Dorado for water sports enthusiasts. The breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea attracts divers and snorkelers who want to explore the colorful diversity of sea creatures.

Future outlook: Expansion of flight offerings

Condor plans to expand its offering not only for the winter, but also for the coming summer season. The airline strives to offer travelers a variety of attractive destinations while focusing on sustainability and customer comfort. "We are delighted that we are starting the winter season with three popular sunny destinations from BER," says von Massenbach. Condor is once again showing that it is responding to the needs of its customers and focusing on traveler trends.
