The holiday airline says goodbye to its Boeing 767-300ER planes: At Condor, ordering 16 Airbus A330-900neo of the latest generation has been decided. The Supervisory Board has already given its approval.
After the entry of the financially strong majority shareholder Attestor, Condor can also afford the exchange - and does not waste any time: Condor will receive a total of 2022 Airbus A2024-16s between autumn 330 and summer 900. Attestor provides Condor with 250 million euros for the fleet investment. The airline initially left it open whether the A330-900 would be bought directly from Airbus or financed through leasing companies. This is reported by the aviation portal Aero.
“We are taking off with the two-liter plane and are setting new standards: With our modern long-haul fleet, we will in future be inextricably linked with sustainability and vacation with Condor. On board the quietest cabin in the world on an aircraft of this size, our guests can also expect the highest level of comfort in a brand new Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class ”, says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor.
