A few days ago, the Maltese airline Corendon Europe added another Boeing 737-800 to its fleet. This bears the registration 9H-CXE and was formerly used by Malindo Air.

The lessor Jackson Square Aviation had "interimly stored" this medium-haul jet in the Austrian aviation register as OE-IIE since November 2021. The aircraft was last parked in Antalya before being transferred to Luqa on June 3, 2022 for the purpose of official acceptance by the Maltese Civil Aviation Authority.

Shortly afterwards we went to Cologne/Bonn, where the 9H-CXE is now stationed. Corendon Europe has been using this Boeing 737-800 commercially since June 4, 2022. The first flight was to Palma de Mallorca. Since then, this machine has been used on various holiday routes from the German airport.

A few more Boeing 737s are set to be registered on Corendon Europe's AOC soon, according to a report by Mavio News. The incorporation of the new additions to the fleet will be coordinated by flight captain and nominated person Flight Operations Gaston Debono. Carrier recently introduced the first transatlantic flight in the company's history and at the same time obtained the Etops approval. The Turkish parent company has an Airbus A330 from the Maltese Airhub Airlines put on a wet lease for around 18 months. In the winter of 2022/23 you want to go on long-haul routes with this rented aircraft.
