The holiday airline Corendon Europe is intensively promoting the destinations of Madeira and Faro in cooperation with Portuguese tourism associations. As a result, large advertising posters are visible in the catchment area of those German airports from which the two destinations are offered.
Corendon offers flights to Portugal from Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Hanover, Nuremberg and Münster/Osnabrück, among others. In cooperation with the tourism associations, they now want to push them. The aim is for more holidaymakers to come to Faro and/or Madeira. They also rely on radio advertising via regional stations.
