The new cruise ship will be able to carry up to 6.500 passengers. Among other things, 13 pools and indoor pools, 19 bars and eleven restaurants are available to passengers. The outdoor area is much more spacious than the sister ship Costa Smeralda.

The shipping company emphasizes that the Toscana can also be operated with LNG gas as an alternative. There are now four ships in the fleet that can be powered in this way. In the summer of 2022, Costa wants to put all its ships to sea again. High demand is expected and it is assumed that cruises can be carried out normally again.
