There will be further facilitation of travel - and earlier than expected. Because like that ORF reports, an amendment to the entry regulations will come into force on Tuesday midnight, which will benefit Croatia holidaymakers in particular.

In a total of five countries, all quarantine regulations fall. According to the ministry, the “3-G rule” then applies to Croatia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Sweden and Cyprus - tested, recovered or vaccinated. Due to the improvement in the epidemiological situation, all of the countries mentioned, which were previously listed as "risk states" in Annex B1, will be moved to Annex A of the Covid-19 Entry Ordinance and are therefore considered to be "countries with a low incidence of infection".

"I think that many Austrians will be happy about this before the long weekend," quoted the Ministry of Health, head of department Wolfgang Mückstein. Observers only expected such steps in the context of the CoV simplifications due on June 10th.
