In the 2022/2023 financial year, Derpart was able to increase its total sales by more than 20 percent compared to the previous year, as Managing Director Thomas Osswald announced at the shareholders' and partners' meeting in Frankfurt. The tourism division in particular contributed to this growth. Profits were also significantly higher than expected, which is mainly due to the successful service fees.
In 2023, Derpart gained three new partners for the franchise system and expanded its network to include two business travel agencies and a MICE office. The launch of the DER Business Travel brand also contributed to the acquisition of new major customers.
For the current year, Derpart plans to position itself as an attractive employer brand in order to counteract the shortage of skilled workers. In addition, the "Strategy 2025" is to be pushed forward, which aims to create synergies with the Dertour Group and further growth in the tourism and business travel sectors. Osswald expects that travel sales will continue to grow in 2024 due to increasing demand.
