Dortmund: Heike Heim is the new chairman of the supervisory board

On June 16, 2023, Dortmund Airport got a new chairwoman of the supervisory board, Heike Heim. The manager has been CEO of Dortmunder Stadtwerke AG since June 1, 2023. 

The auditing company PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH confirmed the annual financial statements for 2022 of minus 8,5 million euros. This corresponds to an improvement compared to the annual result for 2021 of 7,1 million euros. With EUR 1,4 million, Dortmund Airport also achieved the positive operating result required by the EU guidelines for the first time (annual result without depreciation, interest and sovereign costs) and thus fulfilled the obligations of the guidelines for government agencies that have been in force since April 2014 earlier than planned Aid to a balanced operating result by 2024. In 2022, around 2,6 million passengers used Dortmund Airport for their journey (up 53 percent).
