Another milestone: following the peace agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, several airlines plan to offer non-stop flights between the two countries for the first time.
In August, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia released its airspace for unrestricted use. This also made air connections to Israel easier. Because before permission was granted, a detour had to be flown with a delay of several hours. Airlines now want to take advantage of this. And that's still this year: The Israeli airlines El Al and Arkia want to fly to Dubai every day, the Israeli airline Israir several times a week like that ORF reported. The Dubai-based airline Flydubai would also like to include Tel Aviv in its flight program.
